How to Handle Finances Jointly as a Couple with Angela Merritt

Angela Merritt, a Marketing Specialist at VanBuskirk Companies, joins us this week on the podcast to discuss what it looks like to handle finances jointly as a couple. After you have married, not only does a couple need to learn how to live together, but also juggle learning how to budget and each other’s individual spending habits. It’s a big process whether you choose to share bank accounts or keep your own individual accounts. One thing to remember is that this is a learning process, it won’t always be perfect and it takes time to learn the amounts that you can put towards different expenses. Month after month you will get a better grasp on what is realistic and the habits that you want to continue in your budgeting.
