The membership field is extended to persons who live, work (or regularly conduct business in), worship, or attend school in rural districts in 25 counties across 4 states, as well as businesses and other legal entities located there.

Northwestern Bell Telephone Company establishes Sioux Falls Bell Federal Credit Union to serve its employees.
1940
Metz Baking Company employees charter Midwest Partners Federal Credit Union.
1987
Midwest Partners merges with Mckennan Hospital Employee Federal Credit Union, forming Metz/Mckennan Federal Credit Union.
2001
Metz/Mckennan Federal Credit Union rebrands as Midwest Partners Federal Credit Union to accommodate expanding membership.
2004
Northern Plains Federal Credit Union merges with Sioux Falls Bell Federal Credit Union.
2006
Dakota Catholic Federal Credit Union merges with Sioux Falls Bell Federal Credit Union.
2009
Sioux Falls Bell Federal Credit Union rebrands as Bell Federal Credit Union, expanding membership to Minnehaha and Lincoln counties.
2011
Bell Federal Credit Union and Midwest Partners Credit Union merge to form Voyage Federal Credit Union, reflecting a new chapter in their shared journey.
2018
Voyage Federal Credit Union opens a branch at Dawley Farms.
2019
Voyage Federal Credit Union surpasses $100 million in assets.

Jeff Schmidt assumes the role of President/CEO.

Good Samaritan Federal Credit Union merges with Voyage Federal Credit Union.
