2012 Scholarships

 To help members pursue additional education, Voyage Federal Credit Union offers scholarships to both graduating high school seniors and undergraduate college students.

High School Scholarship
Voyage FCU offers two (2) scholarships to current year graduating high school students.  These scholarships are $500 each.

• Applications are made available to members starting January, 2012 and are due by April 20, 2012.
• Applications are available at all credit union branches and on our website.
• Scholarships are awarded to recipients in May.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Applicant must be a member of the credit union, in good standing.
• High school must be located within the credit union’s approved service area.
• Application must be accompanied by a current high school transcript.

Continuing Education Scholarship
Voyage offers one (1) scholarship of $500 to a member pursuing higher education.  You must have been out of high school for at least one year to apply.

• Applications are made available in January, 2012 and are due by April 20, 2012.
• Applications are available at all credit union branches and on our website.
• Scholarships are awarded to recipients in May.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Applicant must be primary member of the credit union for one year or more, in good standing.
• Application must be accompanied by a copy of school enrollment or acceptance letter.

 Dakotas’ Credit Unions’ High School Financial Scholarship 2012
The Credit  Union Association of the Dakotas will award ten (10) $500 scholarships for applicants that exemplify the credit union philosophy of “people helping people” through volunteering, community services, and leadership.  Five scholarships will be awarded to North Dakota residents and five to South Dakota residents.  Scholarships will be awarded upon the successful completion of the first semester of college.
